Description

version of XBMC on my box is r30592, most recent version.
this version has many improvements, including smi color patch (this feature is really awsome!) but also has one bad thing.
in network settings, there's no auto FATX activation/inactivaton option.
so FATX is always activated automatically, causes a trouble when i transfer files through FTP program. I'm Korean, so i use Korean for my file names, but when FATX activated, these files are not transfered normally. well, files have English names are transfered well though. previous versions of XBMC has auto FATX activation/inactivaton option in network settings, so i used to turn off FATX activation. but recent version does not have this feature.
please solve this problem.

When transferring files to the Xbox HDD, you have to use filenames that are compatible with FATX. This is not a limitation of XBMC, it's a limitation of the Xbox itself. The "auto FATX limiter" is an alternative to not having the files transfer at all, so it makes sense that it should always be enabled.

However, if it's altering characters that ARE compatible with FATX, then THAT should be changed.

well, then is it possible to disable "auto FATX limiter" by modification of advancedsettings.xml?

I moved it to advancedsettings but I never realized this problem. I'll think about a solution, probably a revert...
