closedcannot open multi-path source for scan

Since upgrading recently, xbmc fails to scan my movies at all (this has happened on a lot of recent svns) it scans my multipath tv episodes ok but not the movies.. though my windows version can scan everything..
A window opens up and says "opening multi-path source"
and there she stops, nothing happens, I cannot even cancel that window. I can view the all the content not in library mode, so the directories can definitely be opened and the older version of xbmc worked fine.
Im guessing the access violation in the log is a bad thing

Unfortunately the debuglog on pastebin is no longer available and I don't know how to reproduce this. Please attach a new debug log.
