Bug #31
closedWeb folder and contents don't compile (XBOX r23157)

Description
Initially posted here by SpYdEr2314, 01/10/09.
Note that the "web" folder's contents is contained in a zip file in the SVN. It's not so much "compiled" as it is "extracted" (line 211 of "Build.bat" - this "bug" was triggered when that got commented out). Given that it's easy for users to do this manually, this may not need "fixing".
I try to connect to the webserver via Firefox 3.0.14 and i get a 404 like error. I found that the "Q/Web" folder does not compile and had to manually copy the contents from another build. I am using XBOX SVN version r23157.
here is the build log: http://dark3n.webs.com/BuildLog.htm

I tested a few builds but no problems over here. Using Rev. r30452
As far as I am concerned this ticket can be closed.

I'm not sure you're understanding what the OP is asking for here: Yes, the web interface works fine if the web folder is present, but the web folder is NOT extracted by the build scripts.
Making that happen would be easy, the question is, SHOULD it happen?

aha.. I understand now.
Something between the devs and the builders. Hopefully, the take this discussion into account when the make a plan for the webserver: http://www.xbmc4xbox.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=377&start=10
