Description

Playing a VIDEO_TS folder (Duplicity) with DVDPlayer: this DVD is using subtitles and normal logging is logging 1600 lines! I guess this only should be logged in such way in advanced logging.

Whenever CPU usage spikes to 100%, it should be safe to assume the console isn't keeping up (if it needs more then 100% to maintain the correct frame rate, then it's stuck - the only options are to reduce the frame rate or start skipping frames, neither or which count as playing the video "properly"). If usage stays at 100%, then you'll likely be noticing serious problems on-screen (eg A/V de-sync, staggering, stalling, crashing...).

If a log ends up containing a few million lines that look the same (eg, "WARNING: CDVDPlayer::CheckContinuity - resync backword"...), it may be worth deleting some of them and putting a note in their place stating how many lines were cropped.

I guess it's better to catch those errors after given times repeated, give a proper logmessegas and stop the DVDPLAYER process. This way a restart is prevented.
