Bug #318
Updated by buzz about 10 years ago
Quoted characters from JSON scraped data But I have to say that themoviedb scraper works quite well and supports non english when pressing on filminformation and refresh this. Than it directly finds the title and all is good, but automated titles are not decoded/unescaped. eg - tmdb plot only supported for movies having the same or very similar name to the english one. So I have to do nearly 300 movies by hand clicking every time filminformation->refresh->select the top found title->wait->again... Also a pitty that its to hard to include getting imdb rating in themoviedb scraper :( When trying imdb scraper it succeeds on english titles, too. It also loads the actors fotos and imdb ratings but the whole scraping process takes MUCH more time than on themoviedb. On non english there is no chance with imdb scraper. Maybe a mix of both scrapers would be the best (I'm assuming this wuldn't work because of looooong runtime). Next thing I also posted before is that " cannot be displayed correctly and get escaped like \". And when I try to sort my movies by rating it often prefers a low rated (by amount of people) 7.5* a high rated one... *for every rating number" debug log: http://xbmclogs.com/show.php?id=285725
