Not sure what merges are and aren't possible on the xbox, but could we merge some of the skinning updates from xbmc?
As pointed out by Hitcher here: [http://www.xbmc4xbox.org/forum/viewtopic.php?p=8871#p8871] these updates have allowed him to clean up/reduce a lot of skinning code. This would help with memory consumption on the xbox, as well as porting skins across.
Really need more specifics than just "skin updates". Which features/revisions are we talking about?
I was afraid you would ask that. I was hoping it was a case of "Our skinning code is here, there's is here, merge" Ha.
I will dig through the xbmc Trac and speak to Hitcher and see what's needed. Thanks.

26444 and 31008 still requested.
26444 has been merged in r30636
31008 is less trivial for Xbox, so I doubt it will (ever) be merged
26444 was the major one for porting some skins. Thanks for that.
31008 I don't really understand to be honest, but Hitcher suggested it.
The mentioned topic has an alternative on implementing the not merged 31008. This also gives an idea about how this feature can save RAM-usage for XBOX. If still not merged, this ticket can be closed.
Sorry, but I can't really spot "the alternative" you're mentioning. What I need are patches...
