I noticed that when XBOX acts properly as a uPnP Server (with "properly" I mean that WMP and other clients are able to find and play the shared media over the LAN) the shutdown timer is not interrupted. So, if I set an automatic shutdown for inactivity to eg. 15 mins, I'll be able to play 15 min of music before the console shuts itself down. Of course local music playback (from the TV connected to the console) won't let the shutdown timer run - the counting starts only after the playback's end. I still didn't try the Babylon release, but in the changelogs for the XBOX platform this bug isn't reported, so I noted it down.

Upnp is not actively developed at xbmc4xbox. Fixes can be merged from xbmc.org

In which case it would be fixed. This is still an issue until that time.
